I'm starting to get really interested in this TTV photography. In general I don't like imperfections, but I definitely see the beauty in them. I'm just not good at creating imperfections if that makes any sense! I've been looking at some photographs taken with these contraptions and I'm quite smitten with them. It's basically taking a picture of any subject through the viewfinder of any camera with another camera. You get some scratches, dust specs and photos look quite beautifully aged. I know this isn't anything new, but I'd love to do fashion photography with a handmade contraption of sorts. Or maybe I just want to get my hands "dirty". I have some old cameras laying around, hmmmm...

Pretty neat effects and a photography method I'd love to try as well! I usually have to cheat with some Photoshop actions to get that aged/scratchy look.

I know! That was my first instinct: Just Photoshop it! But there is something about merging old and new technology and turning the world upside down to get a neat effect! You should see some of the "cameras" they are taped together or have a box on top of them, pretty fun!
