Monday was a fresh breath of... menswear after a full week of women's, women's and more womenswear! In order of appearance here are some highlights of the early morning session.
Theodore Allegrini opened up with his "Porcelain Man" collection with plenty of Victorian references and handmade hats. He called one of them The Hangover Hat, but it was his trouser jean with a pleat that caused quite a stir for the judges!
Kiara Walker presented a "Double Vision" collection based on the concept of reviving the US economy and used raw materials made only in the US.
{Doesn't that model look like Leonardo DiCaprio?}
I'll finish this post with Dylan Taverner's "Ouroborus" collection, which struck a cord with me. He followed a cyclical thinking of starting with one piece and following it's development in a full collection coming back a full circle. You have no idea what I'm talking about?? I'll do a full profile on Dylan's work next week and you'll love it too! :)

I like Kiara Walker's approach with using US raw materials. And that model totally looks like Leo- and almost looks better looking!

Dylan Taverner's collection looks fun but the only thing is that it doesn't look comfortable and the sweater and the scarf look weird together, too much going on and the colors are so dead. I would wear it on a rainy day. :D. now Kiara Walker's collection like Wrecked Stellar said I like that she used US raw materials. It also looks traditional and more put together and at the same time different. I dont know but something about it catches my eye. But I cant wait to see more on Dylan Taverner's collection. it interests me, its so different.

I don't consider that style of layered clothes for men as a fashion. I don't like his attire on the fourth photo, but hey he looks awesome.
