BARBARA í GONGINI - SS 2011

I'll be starting my Masters in Media Studies at The New School University this fall and the closer it gets to it the more I'm looking at innovative fashion films online. I love the idea of marrying fashion and film. I think they belong together and film is a natural extension or even a platform for film. Here is a 4 minute preview of a short fashion film or let's call it virtual fashion show of innovative label Barbara í Gongini.

I am quite fond of last year's video too.

This short film beautifully displays the idiosyncratic and bewildering creative dimension that define this truly innovative label. I wouldn't say feminine in a traditional way, but quite inline with Danish design sensibility.
